Lead to Empower

Lead to Empower is an all-male leadership group dedicated to building character, purpose, and community. The program focuses on:

  • Mentorship that connects young men with positive role models who guide, challenge, and inspire growth.

  • Community involvement that encourages students to take pride in giving back and making a lasting impact.

  • Personal development that helps students look beyond their own predisposed notions and discover their full potential.

Through connection, service, and self-reflection, Lead to Empower equips young men with the confidence and leadership skills to create change, both within themselves and their communities.

EmpowHer Collective

The EmpowHer Collective is a girls’ empowerment group at Orange Grove High School dedicated to preparing young women to thrive in self, college, career, and community leadership. Through mentorship, leadership training, and experiential learning, they cultivate confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of purpose in their students. They are growing to provide students with meaningful opportunities that inspire confidence, leadership, and connection. Through their upcoming initiatives, students will:

  • Access professional attire to help them feel prepared and self-assured for interviews, presentations, and leadership events.

  • Participate in educational field trips, including an overnight experience at the Young Women’s Leadership Conference, where they’ll engage with mentors, explore new environments, and expand their vision for the future.

  • Design and lead a community service project that builds teamwork, empathy, and a lasting commitment to giving back.

Each experience is designed to help young women develop leadership skills, self-worth, and purpose—empowering them to step confidently into their futures.

Orange Grove High School

Athletic Club

OG Overall Wellness is an after-school program designed to strengthen both the mind and body. Through teamwork and guided activities, students learn how physical fitness and mental health work hand in hand to create lasting, healthy habits.

Students in the program:

  • Work out together as a team, motivating and supporting one another toward shared fitness goals.

  • Collaborate on nutrition, developing meal plans and tracking macronutrients to understand how food fuels the body and mind.

  • Build leadership and accountability, taking turns leading workouts, setting goals, and encouraging their peers.

The program promotes self-discipline, confidence, and balance, helping students take control of their overall wellness and create healthier lifestyles that extend beyond school.

The OG market is a powerful student incentive program run by the Adult Transition special education students at Orange Grove. The OG Market isn’t just a student store, it’s a purpose driven initiative that rewards positive behavior, academic growth and leadership while also providing real life work experience for our Adult Transition students.
Students at OG earn points through the DARE model by demonstrating:

  • Dependability and Dedication

  • Advocacy and Active Participation

  • Resilience and Respect

  • Employability and Excellence
